How do I search for products?
In the upper right corner, there is a search button next to a magnifying glass. Once you click on search or the magnifying glass there’s a field that appears. You can Search by product name, number or keyword. Your search results will then be displayed.

How do I get to the checkout page to complete my purchase?
In the upper right corner, there is an orange shopping cart icon. Click on that icon and you will be taken to your shopping cart, where you can complete your purchase.
How do I make changes to my product selections in the shopping cart?
How do I get my member discount when I order online?
You must be logged in with your Academy member account to receive the member discount. Click "Log In" at the top of the page. On the next page, under "Existing Customers," enter your Academy member username and password. If you can"t remember your password, click on "Forgot your password?" and follow the instructions. If you are an Academy member, DO NOT create a new account, as it will not be connected to your member record, and you will not receive the discount.
How do I access my online products?
You must be logged in with your Academy account to access your online products. Click on your name at the top navigation bar. The window will show your account information and click on "My Online Products"
How do I get back to the Academy main page from the store?
Click on the American Academy of Ophthalmology logo in the upper left corner of the page. It will take you directly to the American Academy of Ophthalmology’s main website.
If I have to leave the Academy Store before I"m finished shopping, will the items in my shopping cart be saved?
If you close the browser window before you have logged in, then the items in your shopping cart will not be saved. If you have logged in with your username and password and you log out before completing your purchase, then the items in your shopping cart will be saved.
I have questions and want to talk to a person. How can I reach a customer service representative?

What are your shipping rates?
Shipping charges are determined when you check out. The Academy has worked diligently to offer every customer—whether domestic or international--the best shipping rates possible. The fees are calculated based on the shipping location and the weight of the product. The Academy does not add a premium to the price of products to offset shipping costs.
How can I request a rush order?
During check out, you can choose from a variety of shipping methods including Two Day, Standard Overnight and Priority Overnight. Air delivery orders placed on weekdays by noon Pacific Time will ship that day. Ground delivery orders placed before noon Pacific Time will ship the next work day. International orders placed before noon Pacific Time will ship within one work day.
I live outside the United States. Is there anyone I can contact in my local area to purchase Academy products?

I was offered a promotional discount in a brochure/fax/email I received from the Academy. How can I redeem it?
On the lower left side of your shopping cart, there is a box labeled "Promotion Code". Enter the promotion code in that box and click the gray "Apply Code" button.
How do I access the online products that I've purchased? For example, the Basic and Clinical Science Course Self-Assessment Program or Coding Assistant modules.
Go to the Academy"s home page (www.aao.org) or the Ophthalmic News and Education (ONE®) Network (www.aao.org/one) and log in with your username and password. In the upper right corner, click on your name and select "My Online Products." A new window will pop up, showing all of your online products. Click on the product you would like to access. Alternatively, you can go to https://www.aao.org/my-online-products, log in with your username and password, and select the product you would like to access.
How do I get back to the Academy home page from the Academy Store?
Click on the Academy logo in the upper left-hand corner. If you have placed items in your cart but are not ready to place an order, remember to log in before closing your browser or those items will be lost.
